Clinical Summary

Folate 600-800mcg: START BEFORE CONCEPTION. Iron 27mg (bisglycinate preferred). DHA 200-300mg. Choline 450mg (most prenatals contain NONE). Iodine 220mcg. Vitamin D (test levels). Ginger 250mg-1g for nausea. AVOID: retinol vitamin A >10,000 IU, vinpocetine (Alpha Brain) = miscarriage risk, most herbal supplements. Garden of Life Women's: 37.4% iron = DANGEROUS shortfall.
